A Bakersfield native, Lena understands the importance of community involvement and is passionate about helping others overcome difficulties through her work as a plaintiffs’ attorney. Inspired by her work at the University of California, Irvine School of Law Domestic Violence Clinic, Lena saw the critical impact a legal advocate can have on a person’s life. She is dedicated to improving the lives of those who face injury at the hands of others and helping them heal.
Lena attributes much of her professional pursuits to her initial experiences in mock trial, debate, and We the People as a student at Liberty High School in Bakersfield. Her teachers and coaches helped nurture a natural talent for public speaking, writing, and leadership; skills that served her well throughout her formal education and legal work. It is her goal to give back to the community by coaching student teams and demonstrating that with a bit of hard work and determination, it is possible to achieve any dream.
During her studies at the University of California Irvine School of Law, Lena was the recipient of the 1L Diversity Scholarship, which granted her a unique opportunity to work as a summer law associate in downtown Los Angeles. An experience that helped her define her professional goals, Lena absorbed a great deal of experience that she applies to her work at Rodriguez & Associates.
Lena is a lifelong learner and sees every day as an opportunity to become more proficient in her work alongside the expertise of the nationally recognized trial team. Her favorite aspect of legal work is meeting clients, listening to their stories, and finding creative solutions to their concerns.
In her spare time, Lena balances her legal work with yoga and tries to find as much time as possible to travel across the country, and beyond, visiting friends, and exploring the world.
