NBCUniversal Local is teaming up with hundreds of animal shelters across the country for Clear The Shelters, a nationwide pet adoption and donation campaign. From August 10 – September 10 the annual event finds loving homes for animals in need. Since 2015, more than 1 million pets have found their forever homes.
